The University of Dayton online Principal Licensure Preparation Program is designed for professionals looking to become principals in Ohio, who have already earned a master’s degree and hold a valid teaching license.
Attending a principal preparation program online allows you to continue working, gaining the teaching experience required to obtain licensure. After completing the program, you will be prepared to sit for the principal licensure exam and become a principal in public, private and parochial schools.
Housed in the School of Education and Health Sciences, the online Principal Licensure Preparation Program takes a holistic approach toward shaping principals who will understand all aspects of leadership and what it takes to run a school.
The program consists of 18 credits and can be completed in less than two years. You will participate in the following courses:
